R. A. Carrington, Esq.
| At the end of 1998, after more than 25 years as a civil trial lawyer and nearly 20 years' experience on arbitration panels for the Los Angeles, Orange, Santa Barbara and Ventura County courts, Mr. Carrington dedicated his practice to full-time Arbitration and Mediation. To date, he has resolved more than 300 mediations and 700 arbitrated disputes. Mr. Carrington received extensive mediation training at the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution, is presently an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University Law School, and has also taught law at UCLA, Pepperdine, and Santa Barbara College of Law. He is recognized for his diverse legal background and dedication to his role as a neutral. Clients also appreciate his trial experience as both a plaintiff and defense lawyer. As an Arbitrator, he is known for his expertise in handling complex issues and for his ability to render clear, detailed, insightful decisions.
