| Mr. Peterson has been a Professional Mediator and Arbitrator for 13 years and brings a wide diversity of experience, including more than 25 years in litigation, 16 years as an Arbitrator for the San Luis Obispo Superior Court, and service as a member of the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Superior Courts’ Mediation Panel. As a Mediator, Mr. Peterson is best known as an attentive listener and observer and for his ability to focus on what the parties expect to accomplish with the process. As an Arbitrator, with extensive experience in Personal Injury, Business and Real Property matters, clients comment on his pleasant demeanor and his detailed, insightful decisions. - Additionally, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Western State University Law Review (1974-75).
