Kevin Kelly has 20 years of ADR experience. Prior to that he was a civil litigation attorney with broad experience in personal injury, real estate, insurance defense, business and general construction litigation. Since being a full time Neutral since1990, he has mediated and arbitrated thousands of cases, specializing in these areas. Mr. Kelly has been very involved in his local community, having served as former Mayor, Vice Mayor and City Councilman of San Carlos as well as Vice-President, member of the Board of Directors and past President of the Redwood City/San Mateo County chamber of Commerce. This experience has given him exposure to various industries and businesses which he is able to effectively utilize in his ADR practice. He also was a member of the Blue Ribbon Committee of San Mateo County where he participated with business and governmental leaders in foreign investment and trade missions to the Far East. Clients are drawn to Kevin’s professional, warm and calm demeanor which serves him particularly well on emotionally charged cases. Kevin focuses and prides himself on getting results. If a case doesn’t settle the day of the hearing, he is diligent in his follow-up and exhausts all options in an attempt to get it settled. One client said “Kevin gets the job done – he is patient and persistent…he never gives up.” His many years as a litigator help him explain the reality of a case to both plaintiff and defense and he does so in a trustworthy and straightforward way.
