Judicate West (JW), one of California’s leading providers of private dispute resolution services, has added Robert Slattery to its growing roster of neutrals in Northern California.

Slattery has spent more than four decades in private practice, handling upward of 180 jury trials, arbitrating over 60 cases, and participating in over 100 mediations. He has litigated cases as a criminal prosecutor and as a plaintiff and defense attorney, with particular expertise in claims involving personal injury, medical malpractice, elder abuse, catastrophic injury, long-term care and wrongful death. Slattery is a current member of the San Francisco Bar Association and the Contra Costa County Bar Association, for which he has previously served on the board of directors and as president. Additionally, he has been member of the American Board of Trial Advocates for the state of California and its San Francisco chapter since 1999, and he has mediated for the Contra Costa County Superior Court throughout his legal career.
Slattery earned both his J.D. (1974) and his B.A. (1971) from the University of San Francisco.
