OUR NEUTRALS

Hon. Armand Arabian, Ret.

Retired Supreme Court Justice

Justice Arabian, who retired from the Supreme Court of California after a distinguished 24-year judicial career, is currently resolving disputes in the private sector as a Mediator, Arbitrator and Private Judge. He is also available as an Expert Witness and for Appellate Consulting. As an Arbitrator, Justice Arabian is known as an exceptionally intelligent and worldly neutral, one who is highly respected for his expertise in handling complex issues and for his dynamic command in the hearing room. Our clients say he is extremely perceptive and intuitive, has the ability to quickly and thoroughly read briefs, and has an insightful comprehension of the issues. “Few jurists I know have his incredible knowledge of the law...and few have published as many opinions,” noted one attorney. As a Mediator, Justice Arabian has supreme confidence in his knowledge and experiences, qualities which have helped him achieve exceptionally high settlement rates. At hearings, he communicates each party’s perspectives to the others, tenaciously maintains focus on the key issues, and gives a broad view of the consequences if the case should not settle. He will also not hesitate to utilize “hard-ball” tactics when needed to get results. “I found Justice Arabian to be very hard-working and completely committed to settlement,” commented one client. “He’s not shy with his opinions,” noted another.
