Hon. Margaret M. Hay, Ret.
Following 14 years of distinguished service for the Los Angeles Superior Court, Honorable Margaret M. Hay retired in 2004. Judge Hay has tried and settled matters of all types, including, but not limited to employment, premises and product liability, probate and medical malpractice. She conducted hundreds of settlement conferences with a high rate of success, helping the parties reach final settlement. Since joining Judicate West in 2004, Judge Hay has handled hundreds of matters in mediation, arbitration and discovery. She has a reputation as scholarly, fair and thoughtful with both plaintiffs’ and defense bars.
