He has also functioned as an appointed Reference Judge for pending Superior Court litigation. As an Arbitrator Judge Denton has served on complex insurance coverage and subrogation cases, legal malpractice matters, real estate and homeowner's association cases and all types of personal injury cases. His mediation practice has included virtually every type of civil matter from cyber-stalking to catastrophic death and injury, real estate, business, to insurance coverage and bad faith matters. He has successfully resolved complex defective design and manufacturing defect cases against major automobile manufacturers. Judge Denton has a special interest in legal and medical malpractice cases and has successfully settled many such cases that the parties thought were not resolvable.
He is best known for his energetic and pragmatic approach to problem solving as well as tenacious drive to resolve difficult cases. Having personally experienced over 40 years as a judge and litigator how cases are actually adjudicated in court, Judge Denton brings a valuable combination of perspective and judgment to the case appraisal and mediation process. Judge Denton is well regarded for his ability to connect with difficult clients whether they are blue collar litigants or wealthy business owners involved in complex international business disputes.
We were impressed by Judge Denton's approach, efficiency and preparedness.
- Attorney, Orange County, CA
Judge Denton, having significant litigation experience, is ideally suited to act as a catalyst in resolving cases.
He recently applied his talents and resolved what was sure to be a highly contentious high stakes employment matter. He acted promptly,
before a complaint was even filed, convincing the parties and their attorneys that a mutually agreeable known result is a far better solution than years
of expensive litigation leading to an uncertain result.
